How to Get Licensed in Georgia

Complete the 75-hour GREC-approved Salesperson pre-license course.

Pass the proctored end-of-course school final exam (minimum 75%).

Submit a criminal history report (GCIC/GBI background check).

Pass the Georgia salesperson licensing exam administered by PSI.
- 5
Apply for your license with GREC within 12 months of passing the exam.

Affiliate with a Georgia broker to activate your license.

First renewal, post-licensing, and continuing education
New salespersons must complete a 25-hour GREC Salesperson Post-License course within the first year of licensure. Ongoing renewal requires 36 hours of continuing education every 4 years.
