Fingerprinting & background check
A fingerprint-based background check is required for licensure in Georgia. Processed through GAPS (Georgia Applicant Processing Service) live-scan fingerprinting via IdentoGO/IDEMIA, producing a GCIC certified criminal history report (~$38.25, valid 60 days). Confirm the current process and fees with the GREC.
