The exam is 125 multiple-choice questions split into two sections — 85 national questions and 40 Texas-specific questions — and you have 4 hours total. How many pre-license hours does Texas require?

What is the passing score on the Texas real estate exam?
You must pass each section independently. The national section requires at least 56 of 85 correct and the Texas section requires at least 21 of 40 correct — each scored separately by Pearson VUE. Failing either section means you fail the exam, even if your combined score is high. This is why state-specific prep matters so much.
How much does the Texas real estate exam cost? What about retakes?
