Steps to Become a Broker in Texas

At least 4 years of active experience as a licensed agent or broker during the 60 months before applying, plus qualifying experience points.

Complete the required 270 hours of broker pre-license education from an approved school.

Pass the Texas broker licensing exam, administered by Pearson VUE.
