How to Get Licensed in North Carolina

    Complete the 75-hour NCREC-approved Broker Prelicensing course.

First renewal, post-licensing, and continuing education

Provisional Brokers must complete 90 hours of Postlicensing education (three 30-hour courses) within 18 months of initial licensure to remove provisional status. Active brokers then complete 8 hours of continuing education each year.
