Steps to Become a Broker in Michigan

Meet the experience requirement
At least 3 years of full-time experience as a licensed salesperson (or equivalent qualifying experience) within the prior 5 years.

Complete broker pre-license education
Complete the required 90 hours of broker pre-license education from an approved school.

Pass the broker licensing exam
Pass the Michigan broker licensing exam, administered by PSI.

Submit your broker application
