After You Pass: Keeping Your License
First renewal, post-licensing, and continuing education
New Indiana brokers must complete a 30-hour post-license education course within the first two years of licensure (tied to the licensing date, not the renewal cycle). Licenses then renew every three years (by June 30) with 36 hours of continuing education — 12 hours per CE year.
Confirm post-licensing and renewal rules with the IREC before your first renewal deadline.
