How to Pass the Oregon Real Estate Exam in 2026

Oregon's entry-level real estate license is Broker. The Broker License Exam is administered by PSI for the Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA).

Step 1: Complete the 150-Hour Broker Prelicense Requirement

Complete the 150-hour OREA-approved broker prelicense education and the current eLicense application requirements.

Step 2: Know the Exam Format

If one section is passed, only the failed section must be retaken. The passed section remains valid for 12 months.

Step 5: Complete Licensing After Testing

After testing, follow the current Oregon fingerprint and background-check process. Before the license is issued, complete the required managing-principal-broker association and remaining OREA licensing steps.
