After You Pass: Keeping Your License
First renewal, post-licensing, and continuing education
Minnesota real estate licenses renew every two years by June 30 with 30 hours of continuing education (at least 15 hours in the first 12 months), including the required general module plus 1 hour of agency and 1 hour of fair-housing training. Minnesota does not require a separate post-license course.
Confirm post-licensing and renewal rules with the DOC before your first renewal deadline.
